Sopapillas

This recipe came from a college roommate.
Sopapillas
Combine: 1 c. flour
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt

Cut in until crumbly: 1 Tbsp. margarine or shortening

Add 1/3 c. warm water, stirring with a fork

Knead for 3-5 min. Cover dough and let rest for 10 min. Roll dough into a rectangle and cut into little squares to deep fat fry. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with honey.
