Orange Rolls
1 recipe dough from Becky Sue's Cinnamon Rolls
butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. sugar
zest from 1 orange
orange oil (optional)
Frosting ingredients:
3 oz cream cheese, softened
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
orange oil or orange extract (optional)
Orange juice
4-5 c. powdered sugar
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll into a rectangle 1/2 inch thick
Generously spread with soft butter or margarine.
Combine sugar and orange zest. Add a couple drops of orange oil if desired. Sprinkle generously over butter.
Roll up.
Using a length of floss, slide the floss under the roll of dough, cross the ends of the floss and draw them away from each other to cut the slices.
Place rolls in a greased pan.
