Lana's Waffles

My brother worked on a dude ranch while he was in high school, and this is the recipe they use for waffles when feeding the guests.  They are tender and delicious.  Use real buttermilk.  Substitutes are just not the same.

Lana’s Waffles

2 ½ c. buttermilk
1/3 c. oil
1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
Pinch of salt

Mix ingredients in order given. Cook in hot waffle iron.
