Banana Sauce

Banana Sauce
3/4 c. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. milk

Combine in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.  Boil for 3 min., remove from heat and add:

1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. rum flavoring (opt.)
1 mashed banana
2 sliced bananas
Serve warm over ice cream or over Banana Cake.

Notes:  I added the mashed banana to give the sauce body.  You could just slice all three bananas.  I think I am going to try using evaporated milk next time.
