Gingerbread Waffles

Very fun for a special occasion!

Gingerbread Waffles

¼ c. melted butter
½ c. brown sugar
½ c. molasses
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
½ tsp. baking powder
1 ½ tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
½ tsp. salt

Cream together butter, sugars and egg. Add milk. Combine dry ingredients and add to the wet. Bake in hot waffle iron. Serve with bananas, whipped cream and chopped pecans. Also delicious with buttermilk syrup.
