Ginger Snaps

I love to make these in the fall.
Ginger Snaps

¾ c. shortening
1 c. sugar
¼ c. molasses
1 egg
1 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg. Beat well. Add flour and seasonings. Roll in small balls; dip in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 min. Do not over bake, do not flatten balls.
