Hot Fudge Sauce

Hot Fudge Sauce (for ice cream)
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 Tbsp. flour
¼ tsp. salt

Combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Pour sugar mixture into boiling water. Cook slowly, stirring constantly. Add: 2 Tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla

Notes: this can also be made in the microwave.  Put the water in a microwave safe container, and cook on high until it boils (takes 3-4 min. in my microwave) Stir in the sugar mixture and return to the microwave, cooking for 2 min.  Then stir.  Cook again, about a minute at a time, stirring in between until the sauce is thickened.  Then stir in butter and vanilla.
